Located in Midland, Texas, The Springboard Center’s sober living facilities provide an alcohol-and drug-free living environment for individuals who have successfully completed an inpatient treatment program. As the Permian Basin’s premier drug and alcohol addiction treatment center, Springboard is dedicated to providing a complete range of amenities and services to those in need of addiction treatment. Alongside our inpatient and outpatient offerings, we ensure that our clients have the resources they need to continue living a life in recovery after they have completed a structured treatment program. Sober living has proven itself to be one of the best ways for those in recovery to regain their footing in independent life — by providing a supportive, safe and substance-free living space, these facilities give their residents a place to feel comfortable and relaxed while readjusting to the pressures of everyday life.

OUR MISSION

The Springboard Center is dedicated to providing a safe, secure and reliable sober living environment that promotes accountability, productivity and prosperity in recovery. We ensure that our sober living facilities are comfortable and clean, and we strive to admit residents who we believe will create supportive communities together. Our sober living facilities are places where residents can encourage each other and build lifelong friendships through a commitment to the same goal of recovery.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to provide a stable sober living environment that gives our residents an opportunity to rebuild their lives in recovery. We always look toward the future when we build our programs, and our sober living facilities are no exception — it is our intention that the sober living environments we create will serve as a positive step forward for those leaving full-time treatment. We see sober living as an important, confidence-building phase of recovery that offers our residents an opportunity to grow in their independence and rediscover themselves in sobriety.

IS SPRINGBOARD SOBER LIVING RIGHT FOR YOU?

Sober living programs are widely known for their effectiveness in addiction treatment. Because of this, there are often many options for sober living in any given community. While the mission of all sober living facilities is to provide a substance-free environment for those in need of a sober home life, they often vary in their specific rules or structure depending on the sponsor or organization who oversees the facility. Some are specifically gender-based, others align themselves with a particular church or charity and still others may require participation in household chores or weekly house meetings. Depending on your needs, your background and your lifestyle, there is likely a sober living program in your area that will be most appropriate for you.

At The Springboard Center, our sober living facilities are intended for those who have recently completed an inpatient or equally intensive treatment program. This program does not need to have also been at The Springboard Center, though we will want to ensure that every potential resident is fully prepared to our standards to transition into sober living before offering admission. We have sober living facilities for both men and women of all ages over 18 and offer all basic amenities including Internet access, a full kitchen, laundry access and on-site management. Our sober living facilities are located across the city of Midland, Texas, and we accept residents from Midland as well as the surrounding areas. We strive to create open, welcoming communities of people who are accepting of others and willing to make new connections with their housemates. We rely on our residents to respect each other’s space and belongings and to resolve any conflicts in a reasonable manner. If you believe that you or your loved one meets our criteria, we encourage you to reach out to find out more about availability and the admissions process.

HOUSING FOR MEN & WOMEN

We have multiple sober living facilities in the Midland, Texas area:

The male sober living facility is a brand-new building and is part of the Center’s main campus. Here, male treatment graduates begin molding a life in a supportive community that enhances one’s desire and ability to remain sober. This 22 bed facility comes with everything needed for average daily living needs as well as a common area for relaxation and meetings.

The women are housed off-campus in the Reflections duplex. In this setting, women who have graduated from a program and wish to find a supportive community to assist their sobriety can begin re-building their lives. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath duplex comes with 6 beds available to qualified residents. It comes with everything necessary for average daily living needs and a common area for laundry, cooking, eating and relaxing.

Each house is fully furnished and decorated, though we encourage our residents to bring small personal touches — family photos, blankets, favorite books — to help their space feel more like home. Each bedroom houses two or three residents, and bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces are shared. Our location in Midland affords us beautiful weather so our residents can also enjoy furnished outdoor patio spaces and enclosed yards.
